For more than 100 years the British university-style wool flannel scarf,
exactly as we know it today, has flourished in every sense of the word.
In Britain, especially in Cambridge and Oxford, many of the stores that
supply these scarves are as old and venerated as the schools they serve.
Perhaps most gratifying to the proprietors of these retail landmarks is the
thought that thousands of their scarves, after years of service, have retired
as cherished mementoes to the closets and drawers of distinguished alumni
in all parts of the world.
Two thousand and nine marks the thirty-seventh year since Camwrap
introduced the pure wool flannel scarf to American schools. Michael Brown,
Camwrap's founder, and Michael Keeble, Camwrap's distributor in the USA,
would like to give special thanks to the following fine institutions for helping
to give further meaning to our company slogan:
Camwrap ~ A Tradition in the Making.
